The date has been set for the trip to Ruidoso. It will be July 17th-19th. If you are planning on going please let us know by clicking on "comment" below this post...or if you are on FaceBook you can leave Serena or myself a message on our walls. This is going to be so much fun. Thanks to Jill Watson Parker we have a place to stay! I don't have any other details other than the date but as soon as we get more details I will post them. The important thing is for everyone to mark your calendars now and make plans to attend! It's going to be GREAT fun! Hope everyone is doing good and I'll post details as they become available.
Love you all,
Jennifer Haynes Lynn

Truly Forever
Yea for Jenn getting this blog started! I'm so glad that so many of us are reconnected again thru Facebook! I have missed you guys and love that we all share a common bond....our sisterhood in Chi Omega! Now I understand that sisterhood is truly forever! I know that I have lost contact with many of you. That is the one thing I did not like about choosing WT....knowing I would move back to the hill country after graduating and most of my college friends would stay in the Panhandle. Anyway, I look forward to reading about everyone lives since we all graduated and can't wait for our summer trip that is in the works!
I will post more later about my life since our WT days. Reese is roping in the San Antonio Rodeo for the next two days. We just got back this morning from last nights performance and no luck for Reese. We did spend the night at the rodeo and watched the concert. Switchfoot was AWESOME! The picture is of the lead singer. He walked over to the crowd, sat up on the fence and sang about 4 ft. away from us. Pretty Cool!

Survey Time
What a great idea, Jennifer! How about a survey new bloggers can fill out to get their feet wet with this whole "share your life with the entire world" thing? (Man, that was one long sentence!) My memory from 1992 is a little fuzzy and needs some jolting from everyone. Maybe it was the trashcan punch from the ATO house! Anyway, here are some questions I was thinking of:
1. What year did you pledge?
2. What was your major?
3. Did you live in the Chi-O compound at Shirley Hall? Who was your roommate?
4. Who was your big/little sister?
5. Where did you grow up?
6. Where are you now?
I can't wait to catch up with everyone!

I'm so excited about this blog. I'm also very excited about the Chi Omega's I've reconnected with. I wanted to start this blog as a place to post news and information. I also wanted to start this blog to keep everyone informed about the Summer Trip we're planning. Several of us have reconnected on Facebook and have decided we need to have a reunion. The plans are in the works and we'll be posting information as they come together. If you are interested in going just post a message on this blog.
I have to tell you how I came up with the name of this blog. I couldn't think of anything cute or catchy so I pulled out my old t-shirts and found one from 1993 that said "Traditions Start Today...Legacies Last Forever".
Be Blessed,
Jennifer Lynn
